INSTRUCTIONS ABT CALCULATION OF HIGH TIDE AT NORTH BAR (AMAZON RIVER ENTRANCE)
As per latest instructions fm Brazilian Navy, kindly be advised that
at North Bar(Amazon river entrance) in the proximities of coordinates
Lat. 1º34'N and Long. 49º13'W, the times and heights of the tides are
estimated basis on the tide table fm Ponta do Céu(Lat. 0º46'N/Long. 50º07'W).
The daily heights of high and low water for Ponta do Céu are in the tide table
which is hereattached.
Fyg, high tide on the am area occurs at/abt 4 hs 10 min prior of high tide at Ponta do Ceu.
